Shahuwadi is known as lord Rajarshri Shahu's Favorate Place. so it is known as Shahuwadi. Rajarshri Shahu Maharaja was a king of karveer sanshtan. He was a great person who devlop KTware( Kolhapur type Bandhara) which is usefull for all farmers in kolhapur district

Shahuwadi Taluka is placled in Kolhapur district of maharashtra - india. It is an naturaly high sensetive area having lots of Jungle with maximum types of amimal. it is declar as High sencitive Zone by WWF.
